I earned my BSN from Marian University in 2014 and began working as a bedside nurse in a level III NICU. While I cared for the smallest, most fragile babies in the hospital I also took care of their families who were dealing with postpartum depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. I began working in outpatient mental health and made the decision to further my education, attending graduate school and becoming a nurse practitioner. I earned my MSN from Indiana University School of Nursing. My graduate education was focused on mental health across the lifespan. I received my PMHNP board certification from the ANCC. I am a very collaborative practitioner and value patient input. The greatest compliment I can receive is being told by my patients that they truly feel heard during our visits.
